(1) HASP Hardlock Emulator:

 

First of all, you have to download this tool which you will use:

     1. Unzip, Unrar and run HASPHL2007.exe

     2. Make sure you have the latest HASP dongle drivers
         installed and the original HASP key connected to
         a LPT or USB port.

     3. Press "INSTALL" button and if installation was
         successful Driver status window will be changed to
         "Status : driver is installed".

     4. Now you need to open "Emulator" tab, Then you press
         "Start Service" button. If everything is ok you'll see
         "HASP/HARDLOCK Emulator Service is running"

     5. To find your key it is necessary to start protected
         software.

     6. Open "DUMPER" tab. HASP/HL Dongles window shows
         logged HASP passwords. There can be up to 10
         different passwords but it doesn't mean that all
         dongles are connected to computer.

         When you press "DUMP" button Dumper will try to
         read all of Logged dongles and save all dump files.

         Dump files are stored in folder containing
         HASPHL2006.exe and have ".DMP Or .BIN" extension,
         according to Hasp or HaspHL.

(2) Aladdin Hardlock:(this tool) to backup Hardlock key (make key memory dump):

  • download and unpack tool to any empty folder (for ex. c:temp)

  • close all active nonsystem applications

  • run console by “Start” -> “Run…” -> cmd.exe -> “OK”

  • type next commands in console

    • x:…>c:

    • c:…>cd temp

    • c:temp>hldmp.exe /DUMP modad

    • modad must be valid ModAd for your key

  • also you can use dumper in brutforce mode to find key modad

    • x:…>c:

    • c:…>cd temp

    • c:temp>hldmp.exe /BF

  • wait until tool finishes work

  • find result files (XXXX.dat and XXXX.reg) and send them to our support team

(3) Aladdin HASP (All):this tool) to backup Hasp 3, 4 or Hasp HL key (make key memory backup):

    • PWD1, PWD2 must be valid passwords for your key

  • wait until tool finishes work

  • find result file (*.dat) and send it to our support team

If dumper shows “Keys not found” message in Log window, please contact support team.
Dumper works only with new sentinel drivers and can fail with old ones (SuperPro Server required to dump correctly).

(01) Aladdin Hardlock:

Hardlock key has almost same characteristics as HASP4 key.
Dongles can be divided into few categories by following parameters:

  • Chip type:

    • Flora ASIC (older type)

    • Luna ASIC

  • Local or Network version:

    • Local (with one ASIC)

    • Network (have second ASIC with ModAd 0х4799)

  • Interface connection type:

    • COM port

    • PCI/ISA-board

    • LPT port

    • USB port

Universal solution for Hardlock keys exists and available to order.

If your hardlock with Remote Update Service (RUS) licenses, we can:

  • change RUS serial number

  • enable/disable slots

  • increase licenses for each slot

  • remove time limit

(02) Aladdin HASP 3/4:

Both keys were very popular during long term (1993-2006) because have good API, appropriate security level and lack of researchers attention. HASP4 was replaced with HASP HL that has strong crypto, but still vulnerable to table emulation.

It seems that first solution appears in the middle of 90’s (HASP 3). HASP4 algo was significantly improved, but secure algorithm was restored in 2004 (?) and published year ago.

(03) Aladdin HASP HL:

Aladdin HASP HL is the key with declared strong crypto in the form of AES-256. Private key stored in protected memory area and not available for read.

At current moment only custom solutions available for it. Please contact us for details.

(04) Eutron SmartKey:

This key has flash memory and supports data scrambling (for new dongle types). Scrambling algorithm was disclosed and full software emulation available.

Models: FX, PR, EP, SP, NET (5, 10, 25, 50, unlimited users).
Undocumented models: D, E, SB, WI.

Eutron Smartkey exists for LPT and USB (3 types)
Memory size: 0, 64, 416, 896 bytes.

All Eutron dongles use for access 16-bytes Label and 16-bytes Password.
Some models have “invalid access counter”.

Latest Eutron Smartkey models use AES algo (software, in drivers).

Universal backup tool, developed by our specialists, allows make full copy for all models.

(05) FeiTian Rockey 3/4:

Have rudimentary API with basic set of subfunctions. Support:

  • memory operations

  • counters

  • user-defined algorithms

User can define own algorithm using limited set of math operations.

(06) FeiTian Rockey 5/6:

Dongle looks like usual usb key, but has completely different internals. It is based on SmartCard technology.

(07) Guardant Aptus:

It is the first (very old key) of Active company.
Have 4 passwords:

  • Public

  • Read

  • Write

  • Master

Dependence between passwords is fully disclosed.
Key contains 256 bytes memory with 4 constant hardware algo, what depended from key master password.

(08) Guardant Fidus / Stealth:

This key is first key of Stealth series, produced by Active company. Has set of predefined algorithms unique for the key lot. It was replaced by Stealth II key. Stealth keys allow set algorithm descriptors that change algorithms behavior. Both keys can be emulated as well as custom designed solutions, based on this ASIC.

At least Credo Topoplan and Galaxy software products use custom designed solutions, based on Stealth technology.

(09) Guardant Stealth II:

Fidus / Stealth keys has been replaced by this one. It supports patented GSII64 crypto to prevent universal emulation. Custom solution can be prepared for this keys. It was replaced by Stealth III key in 2006.

(10) Guardant Stealth III:

This key was try of software protection developers to prevent table emulation through code obfuscation. Key has no significant changes in hardware and can be emulated as well as Stealth II.

(11) Keylok II:

Keylok key features list is placed below:

  • memory read access via 3 codes

  • memory write access via 3 codes

  • 128 bytes memory

  • algo depends from read codes

  • expiration date

(12) McAMOS SmartLock:

Simple key with very limited set of operations. Support:

  • Single cell read/write

  • All memory read/write

  • Symmetrical encrypt/decrypt

(13) Microcosm Dinkey:

British company propose “small piece of hardware” that should protect you software from piracy. It supports memory read/write and encrypt/decrypt operations.

(14) Safe-Net Hardkey:

Hardkey key appears as replacement to UltraPro because last had almost same security level as old SuperPro key.

(15) Sentinel Pro:

This key is very old key of Rainbow Inc (Safe-Net Inc). Support basic hash transformations.

(16) Sentinel SuperPro:

Sentinel SuperPro is the old key of Safe-Net Inc (Rainbow Inc). It was extremely fast updated to UltraPro key in 2006 as response to HASP HL key by Aladdin. One of the most popular key in the world.
Key main features are described below:

  • Memory size: 32 words (16 bits)

  • Memory read/write

  • Activations for expired counters/algorithms

  • Counters

  • Data transformation routine using one of the two available fixed algorithms, based on data in the key cells

  • Combinations of activations, counters, algorithms

(17) Sentinel UltraPro:

Almost the same key as Sentinel SuperPro. It appears almost simultaneously with Aladdin HASP HL, but later was replaced with Hardkey key. A lot of changes were made in software part.
